Knitting

I learned knitting and crochet when I was about 9 years old.  It was fashionable in third grade to know knitting.  I picked it up again when leg warmers became fashionable in the mid 1980's, when I was in Jr. High School.  I became quite an experienced knitter by the time I graduated from high school.  Since then, I haven't had as much time to knit, although I have tried to make something special for each of my kids.

This is a size 4 sweater I made for my oldest daughter, using cotton yarn and a pattern designed by Debbie Bliss.
